Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are you dog friendly?

Yes! Well behaved dogs are welcome in all of our bakeries but must remain on a lead at all times and must not cause disruption to other customers. Our bakeries can become very busy and noisy, and we do have lots of people visiting with dogs so please bear this in mind when deciding if its a suitable environment for your four legged friend.

Please note, dogs are not permitted upstairs in our Stokesley bakeshop.

Water and doggy treats are available, please ask a member of staff if needed.

  • Can I book a table or Pre-order?

Unfortunately, all of our locations are walk-in only and do not accept reservations. If you would like to sit in, Guisborough is the biggest of our three locations and has the most tables. We ask that if you are waiting for a table in either Guisborough or Saltburn that you respect customers already seated and avoid standing over tables if possible.

Stokesley seating is extremely limited and tables will be allocated at the time of ordering.

We do not accept pre-orders at any of our locations.

  • Are you hiring?

We are currently hiring for two baker positions, experience is essential. Please see our Work With Us page.

For any Front of House roles please check our instagram @Koseligbakeri where we advertise any open positions. If you cant find a recent post about jobs that would indicate we have no positions available at that time.

  • When are you open?

Both our main Guisborough Bakeri and our Saltburn bakeshop are open everyday, except Tuesday.

Guisborough opens at 8:30am and Saltburn opens at 9am.

Stokesely is open Thursday to Sunday from 9:30am.

All locations close at 3:30pm but we can often sell out of bakes earlier in the day so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

  • Is anything gluten free?

We don’t currently offer gluten-free products due to limited working space, environmental constraints, and equipment. These factors make it challenging to prevent cross-contamination, which is critical for maintaining gluten-free standards. Ensuring a completely uncontaminated process would require significant additional resources and a separate working space that we currently do not have.

  • Do you sell more than just bakes?

Yes! We have our focaccia sandwiches available every day in Guisborough and Saltburn, offering a delicious and filling option for all with a veggie and a vegan option always available. Additionally, we sell a range of sourdough breads, from Thursday to Sunday, that we make fresh in our Guisborough bakery. All of our breads are vegan as standard but some of our flavoured breads may contain inclusions that are not vegan but will be clearly marked as such.

  • Where can I park?

In Saltburn: We’re a short walk from the sea front where there is plenty of parking available.

In Guisborough: there are lots of pay and display car parks all within a few minutes walk of our Bakeri on Westgate. Head over to Guisborough councils website for a full list.

In Stokesley: we are located on the high street where you can park directly outside with a parking disk or just a short walk along the road you’ll find the main market square carpark.

  • Do you accept wholesale orders?

We do not currently supply other businesses with wholesale orders. We have worked with some lovely local businesses in the past but its no longer something we offer.
